Are there any websites devoted to providing a way to trace exactly
where our consumer money goes? It seems to me that people feel
powerless except for political voting but there is great power in how we
collectively use our money. I know that there is CoOp America and 
other groups, who advocate for ethical companies; what I am 
looking for is a site where one could see the complete trail of 
corporate ownership and the networks that exist at these levels.  
In other words, if I buy a box of detergent or pay my
phone bill, how can I know exactly which companies that money
 actually supports (and their ethics if possible)  A friend says it 
would be immediately sabotaged if anyone ever tried to create it...
