Any incompatibilities between Blackberry and Outlook 2003 in cached exchange mode?

Are there any known incompatibilities between running Blackberry
Desktop Manager software ver 3.6 SP3.

I use a Blackberry Enterprise server, Outlook 2003, and Exchange 2003.

When I have my Outlook running in cached exchange mode, as it should
be, my Blackberry has problems with it?s wireless sync.

The guy at RIM told me to leave Outlook in Online mode, but I hate not
running in cached exchange mode.  He said he heard of problems but
wasn?t sure.  Any talk on the Internet about this?
