Hi matthew168168,

Thank you for your question. I'm posting my findings as a
clarification because the various resources I found do not list the
size of the threaded insert or helicoil.

Please post a clarification asking me to answer your question, if you
are successful in finding the size you require.

Clarification of Question by matthew168168-ga on 20 Oct 2004 06:37 PDT
I know it's an "odd" size. It is FOR SURE 7/16-24. It's the inlet
threads on an old carburetor and they need to be saved. I know someone
somewhere must make this. :-) I know of a guy who has them but he
won't tell me where he got them from. I know that his are made of
brass if that helps. His website is www.97heaven.com.

If you go to www.97heaven.com/new97.htm you can see a picture of it
on the left side. It will say threaded insert. I really need these.
:-)

Thanks so much in advance for all your help.
