Who are Kil Joon Yu Callahan and David Callahan previously of Hudson, MA?  

I have the information from the Congressional record concerning the
Senate Bill S.423 that John Kerry introduced, and that Senator Kennedy
supported.  However, I'm interested in how David Callahan managed to
get at least two high-profile senators and more than 5 congressmen to
support his cause.

Specific information that would be interesting would be his
background, profession, contributions to candiates/elected officials,
the location and status of Kil Joon Yu etc.

Okay, you're dying to know who Kil Joon Yu is. She's a Korean who met
American professor David Callahan, while he was teaching in Seoul.
They married, but Immigration wouldn't grant her a visa because of a
marijuana possession conviction. The Senate rejected the bill. Kerry
enlisted the aid of Ted Kennedy, who got the bill passed.

Of course, that's not exactly an unbiased source either, but I was
hoping to get more info on exactly HOW David Callahan was able to
exert so much influence as to get a private law passed and obtain that
visa.

Interestingly, only one David Callahan from Massachusetts has donated
to either candidate in the current election, and he donated to Bush. 
Wouldn't that be ironic!
