I need software that will synchronize files between 2 Windows 2000
computers in real-time. The computers can see eachother's disks in
Network Neighborhood and are connected with an ethernet cable.

The data is 150 GB and is very sensitive. Files are constantly being
updated or deleted.

Another way this can be put, the data must be "mirrored" between the
two drives. Not all data on the disk should be mirrored. We only want
to mirror the one large 150 GB folder (including subfolders).

The price we are looking for is under $100. But if there is a good
solution for a little more than that, then that too will be okay.

Remember, the software must be reliable. I read bad reviews about this
other software "MirrorFolder" that it wiped someone's drive clean.
This would be disasterous. We need a reliable piece of software. If
the company is in North America and has a phone number, that would be
the best scenario.

Other Software I Tried To No Avail (to save you time):
rReplicator. This did not work for subfolders.

ViceVersa PRO: Not real-time. Has a new real-time add-on, but only
detects when a resynch should happen, and re-scans whole disk.
(Correct me if I'm wrong)

Ghostfiles: Didn't work on my computer. Cumbersome interface.

IDAutomation: Doesn't have real-time, despite claims.

A reliable piece of software that does this, with a North-American
phone number would be a big help to me. If you find something that
clearly meets all this with little testing on my end, I will give a $5
tip.

Thanks!

cym-ga:

I have past experience with SureSync myself, and would suggest it if
your budget will allow. The commenter above has provided a link to
this product already.

Hmm... Good list at the end but I was hoping not to have to search
myself. I may have found a solution from your post.

Testing.

SureSync is good, and is just above $100 ($150 ish) for a workstation
edition. Gets expensive if you are running Windows Server Edition tho.
