Hello, I am an independent CAD Consultant working from my home office in Texas. After 2 years working under a DBA, things are going better than expected. I am a one-man operation and have recently learned about the tax advantages of incorporating. I am a one man operation with very few expenses. Can you tell me the best state is to incorporate in? I do not want to pay extra taxes or do any extra reporting. I also really want to keep the accounting as simple as possible. Thanks in advance. -HR |

Hi, HR. I have long understood that Delaware is the best state in which to incorporate. You'll find the oddest companies incorporating there. I would have thought it had changed, but I STILL see companies incorporating there. Sorry, I can't give you specifics about it. Oh...yes I can. These people explain it: http://www.incnow.com/faq.shtml |
