After downloading Windows XP Service Pack 2 my Norton Firewall 2004 blocks access to my internet service provider. I uninstalled both SP2 and the Norton Firewall and reinstalled the Norton but this did not solve the problem - I still have to shut down Norton Firewall before I can access the ISP [which is via an ADSL link]. The Symantec website lists a dozen or so ways of tackling this, however they take time. Can anyone suggest a quick solution or the most likely solution? |

uninstall the norton firewall and keep the windows firewall from sp2. You don't need that many firewall in your life. |
