pushkin1-ga:

The KX-TC1402's distinguishing feature is the fact that it has 'big
buttons' on its keypad versus the regular-sized buttons on Panasonic's
other phones. As far as features and instructions go, it should
otherwise be identical to the 'regular-size button' version of their
900 MHz analog phone from that time-frame, the KX-TC1401. There is
indeed an instruction manual available for the KX-TV1401 series, which
should be sufficient for your needs:

I hope that this helps!

Hi,

Unfortunately my telephone for which I need the muser manuel model
KX-TC1402 is NOT identical to the other models. Certain buttons
which are present on the KX-TC1401 (for which you sent me the manual)
are NOT present on my phone. I specifically need to progran my phone
to TONE -- and he is now programmed for PULSE -- and I do not know
how to change from PULSE to TONE....

Can u help ?

pushkin1-ga:

Thank you for your patience; as you've probably figured out, sometimes
it takes a few hours before this system informs me that you have
requested a clarification.

While the manual linked above is not specifically for the KX-TC1402,
all of the phones in the KX-TC14xx series are programmed in the same
way; it is just a matter now of figuring out which buttons are used on
your big-button phone due to Panasonic's need to make some buttons do
double-duty to make room for the bigger buttons.

The keys you need are specifically PROGRAM, AUTO, and #. From the
pictures of the KX-TC1402 that I have seen, there are two buttons to
the right of the TALK button, there is still a single button at the
lower right corner of the keypad, and there are labels given for
several of the buttons in the numberpad. To help you with this, can
you please tell me what the labels are on the two buttons to the right
of the TALK button (both the label on the button itself, and any label
written next to the button), the labels on the button at the lower
right, and also the labels next to the numberpad buttons. The purpose
here is to locate the PROGRAM function.

Thanks,

This manual appears to not be available online, but I found this info
at Panasonic support page:
"User Guides
If you have lost your instruction manual, please call 1-800-922-0028
to order a replacement."
http://www.panasonic.com/consumer_electronics/communication_systems/info_center.asp#

I hope that this helps you.
