My son has a Renault Clio and is a Drummer. Therefore he often needs
most of the space - with the rear seats down - to carry his kit. Based
upon reviews or practical experience what would be the best active
base unit for him to get. We need it to be as compact as possible but
still perform well at a maximum cost of £150.

It may help to know that the Head Unit is a Pioneer DEH-P5600MP.
