Question ID: 418651
I would like to know how to and the best product(s) to use in order to
prepare a full functional PC (Celeron, 255 MB RAM) with no hard disk,
that should eventually boot from a CDROM (of course, there is a disk
at the beginning in order to prepare the bootable CDROM).

The procedure should include the support for applications installed
previously in the hard drive (that should work normally, as far is
possible using a read-only CDROM), the creation of RAM-Disk that will
be erased after the next boot, as all data created during the previous
session.

Thanks.

THANKS crythias-ga for the amazing work. I knew it won't be easy...
but this is really a lot to do. In any case, it gave me new ideas (and
valuable links) regarding what I'm planning to do, and for this also,
Thanks again.

Maybe the whole Internet idea was not so bad...
MMmm-NO. Still it is an enormous pile of junk with a very few diamonds
in it... as your paper.

I knew I had posted a link for this before. Funny that I had to search
my own name and Windows 98 in GA, but I couldn't remember how to find
it in google.com.

No problem. Just so if anyone else reads this, I have nothing to do
with the link I posted above. I had used this link to offer a solution
for another question, so I knew in advance what I was searching for. I
just forgot the terms with which I searched for Google. But I searched
Google Answers for
crythias Windows 98
and found it again.

It's up to you whether you'd wish to cancel the question or wait for
an official Answer.
