$2.50 - How much will it cost me, including gas and tolls, to drive
from Chicago to Los Angeles?
I'll be driving a 1996 pontaic gran prix w/ 3.1 litter V6.  One site
says the car gets 20MPG(city) 29 MPG(highway). I dont know where to
get the toll information.
Could you give it to me in terms of the cost of gas and the cost of tolls? Thanks.

first of all once you get out of Chicago(I assume you will take
Interstate80) there are no tolls to contend with the rest of the trip.
and it all depends on where in chicago you are leaving from.Also I am
not sure about auto tolls but in a 18 wheeler it is $1.25 per toll it
usally cost me about $9.00 to get out of Chicago.

it is 2037 miles from chicago to LA average mpg would be about 25mpg
would figure 81.5 gals.@ approx $2.25 per gal= $183.33 for gas
