I just bought a new Dell Inspiron 1000 laptop and want to upgrade my
memory.  I have the memory module but need a step-by-step instruction
guide so I don't destroy my new laptop.

Hi diablomadness,
PLease check the folowing links. the first one is for the system doccumentation.
the second is for replacing Parts it is pdf file look for the part to
be replaced and follow instructions.
