In the Outlook Express email form, below Subject, are the various places for Bold, Size, Color, Underline, etc. My neighbor has somehow managed to make that entire line of info disappear from his forms, and I haven't a clue how he managed it, nor does he. How do I get them back for him? Is it even possible? |

Try this How do I add a rich text field to a table? To add an Rich Text field to a table, do the following: Click on the Tables/Sets tab of the Control Panel. Right click on the table to which you want to add the new field. The right click menu appears. From the right click menu, choose Edit Structure. The Restructure Table card appears. Move the cursor to the first blank row in the table In the Name column, enter a name for the new field. In the Type column, choose Rich Text. From the File menu, choose Save. A dialog box appears asking to confirm your action. Click Yes. The new field is added and you can close the Restructure Table card. |

Please check the "View" tab on the same toolbar where you found "Formatting" Click "View" Click "View Toolbars" Make sure "Formatting Bar" is checked. If this is not checked, you will not SEE the formating toolbar from within the message screen, even if the Formatting Rich Text has the dot. Please let us know if this helped! Regards, crabcakes |

Hi again...I had not seen your last comment. Trying my idea will not mess up anyone's computer, as it is as simple to do as tlspiegel's suggestion. You need to have the formatting toolbar *visible* in order to use it! :-) I just tried un-checking the formatting toolbar, under *View* and I was no longer able to see my formatting toolbar in a message compose window. I think this will fix you right up! Regards, crabcakes |

Dear crabcakes--I luv you! It worked on mine (and was I scared to try
it), so it's going to have to work on my neighbor's. Can't try his
until tomorrow, but feel safe in saying Thank You, Thank You, Thank
You.
Will only comment again if it fails. |
