Over the years I have developed an affection for Loake Bisley shoes (brown)
Oddly I bought a pair from Aberdeen (IIRC) some years ago
- after a search on the net
Later I bought another pair from a place in London (directly opposite
Farringdon station) when the owner rang me up, after a gestation
period of at least six months, and said that they were back in
production due to an order from Hong Kong.

I suspect that there is still old stock lurking somewhere
Size 9 1/2 (widest fitting - I think they only do EE or F)
Preferably in the UK, but it would amuse me to re-ship coals.
