For the North American market, please identify the 5year historical
and 5year annualized forecast demand for interior updates and/or
modifications of private jets & turboprops. (see below for
definitions/descriptions).
In addition, please identify the following as completely as possible:
(1) Who are the other major suppliers of these services, for example:
Elliot, Garrett, Duncan, Gulfstream.
(2) What are the quantitative and qualitative drivers or reasons why
the aircraft interior update/modification industry would do
well/poorly.
Question parameters/clarifications:
i. Demand should include (where possible): customer type, $Revenue,
plane/type, work performed.
1. Customers are probably grouped into three classes:
a. individuals,
b. dealers/used market,
c. corporations.
2. Interior work performed is probably grouped into three classes:
a. Avionics & FAA (nice to know, but separate out)
b. Interior updates: new carpet, seat coverings, etc.
c. Modifications: recover walls, ceiling, arm rails, seat addition/
removal/ relocation, addition of cabinetry and/or entertainment/galley
amenities.
ii. For historical & forecast, document total annual revenues
pertaining to work identified above in (i.2.a-c) by customer and plane
type:
1. 5year historical years would be: 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003
2. 5year forecast years would be: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 -
include quarterly variances & assumptions for 2004, 2005
3. If there is a large increase or decrease either historically or
forecast, please provide reason & supporting documentation.
iii. ?Private? implies non-commercial aircraft, so please exclude
aircraft owned or leased by major or regional commercial airline
company (ie. Southwest, Continental, Northwest, United, Delta, etc).
For all of the above:
Ø Please explain quantitative and qualitative rationale for answers to
the degree possible.
Ø Please assume that the person posting this question has no FAA,
aircraft interior/modification experience or knowledge.
Ø Please document sources/methodology as best as possible. |
