I want to be able to use the cam in the nokia 7610 as a webcam. I have a GPRS connection, Id like an app/site which can use my cam to take pics and upload them every 5 seconds.. or something. Paid/Free does not matter. the nokia 7610 is a series 60 phone, so series 60 apps. An app that can run on a computer, as well as the phone would be nice.. I would haveto be able to use the cam like in MSN messenger, I know about Agilemessenger, but it refuses to work through a proxy(cant set it up) and my GPRS connection goes through a provider's proxy before reaching the internet. Regards. |

Have you tried Remote S60 Pro? I connected my 7610 to my PC using TCP/IP over GPRS. You can see the phone screen and use the camera remotely. There is also webcam functionality whereby you specify the FTP server settings, upload freq etc you can get a 14 trial version from: http://mobileways.de/M/1/3/3/ It also has some proxy functionality but I'm not sure it would be suitable for your use...
