Howdy markcho-ga,

According to this "Ask Yahoo!" web page, the most popular "instant-minister
organization" is the Universal Life Church or ULC.
http://ask.yahoo.com/ask/20020702.html

"The ULC used to advertise in the back of magazines like Rolling Stone. All
you had to do was mail in a self-addressed stamped envelope in order to
become a minister. With the advent of the Internet, you're only a few clicks
away from holy orders."

The above article points out that some states have additional requirements.

"The states of Nevada, Ohio, and Rhode Island each license their ministers."

You will want to read the above referenced article for other notes.

Here is the best news; it is a free process! More can be found on the ULC
web site.
http://www.ulc.org/

"While you don?t have to purchase anything from the ULC to gain the legal
benefits, entitlements and respect, we do offer a wide variety of materials
to assist you in your ministry and/or business.
...
This site has ordained more than 400,000 ministers since 1995."

None of this is to be taken lightly.

with the following instructions:

- Please only ordain others with their permission.
