Hello, rett1234 -

Thank you for your question.

When you say "Lojack"-type technology, can you elaborate on this?
What portion of the technology? What kind of expert -- a project
manager engineer to oversee an entire project? Can it be a company?

Thanks,

jbf777

Thanks for inquiring. I want to develop a small personal security
device which will incorporate a "Lojack" type alarm and locator in it
so I need to speak to someone who is able to reproduce that same
technology in a very small product.

I have additionally spoken with Elliott Drucker, owner of Drucker
Associates, a design/development firm. Elliott is an engineering
expert with vast experience in wireless technology. He also has
experience in automative electronics, power systems, etc. Elliott
feels confident he can assist in the development of this product on
the engineering side, in addition to sourcing manufacturers to have it
physically produced.

From their website:

http://www.drucker-associates.com/

"Elliott Drucker has over 23 years of experience in the wireless
industry, beginning in 1979 when, as an R&D engineering manager, he
participated in the development of test mobile equipment used in the
famous AT&T ?AMPS? cellular trial system in Chicago. For many years,
Elliott was Director of Research for US West NewVector, the cellular
operating arm of the ?Baby Bell?. In that role, he was instrumental
in the launch of some of the first commercial cellular systems in the
United States. Later, he was deeply involved in development and
analysis of air-interface standards for second generation digital
wireless technologies. Elliott was a pioneer in the development of a
number of key technologies used in wireless network design, including
repeaters and microcells, hierarchical cell architectures, and the use
of interference matrices for frequency planning. These innovations
resulted in several patents."

The answer was speedy and provided more than ample resources. I have
not yet contacted them so cannot yet vouch for their accessability,
but their credentials, which the researcher thoughtfully supplied,
look very impressive.
