I want to offer great hotel prices around the world (corporate rates
or better) but do not currently have enough volume to negotiate
reduced prices for my clients while receiving good commissions for my
company. I believe that by finding wholesalers who have negotiated
good rates with the high-end chains (i.e. Four Seasons, SLH, Starwood
hotels including St Regis, Luxury Collection and W hotels, J.W.
Marriot, etc.) and boutique hotels in the major cities around the
world (New York, Paris, London, Miami, Madrid, Mexico City, Moscow,
Prague, etc.) I may offer my clients reduced prices while receiving
good commissions from the wholesaler. I am looking for wholesalers of
hotel nights that have great rates, do not require a large volume to
receive their benefits and will split commissions. If a more efficient
way of achieving my goal is found, I will pay a bonus.

Hello -

Can you clarify what you mean by "clients?" Are these regular patrons
of a fixed number, or are you offering a public service? Either case,
can you say with how many clients you are dealing?

Our client base is constantly expanding, however our business is not a
high volume business but targeting to few very high-net-worth
individuals. We provide personal assistant/concierge-style services to
around 250 clients. We currently have a seller of travel lincense and
put together trips for some of our clients, however am looking at
improving our travel services.

Hey, ojomx,

sounds like a great value-add service, but what you're describing
really is being a travel agency. You could, if it's going to be
profitable to you. Most wholesalers and hotels won't deal with you in
general terms, especially when it comes to paying a commission, unless
you're a registered agency.

I operate a Travel Agency in the UK. We have just the tyoe of
supplier that you are looking for and would be able to sub-let our
rates out to you given some form of security. Tell me a little more
about who you are and what exactly you want to do.
