CitySearch was acquired by Ticketmaster in 1998. What was the purchase
price and how much did each top executive receive from the sale? If
the exact public data is not available, an estimate will suffice.

Being that CitySearch and Ticketmaster were private companies at the
time of the merger, getting the exact numbers will be very difficult.
However, an analyst at the time valued the pre-IPO company at about $1
billion with roughly $300 million being the CitySearch portion. 
CitySearch shareholders owned 42.5% of the merged company and USA
Interactive, which had an ownership share of the CitySearch is taken
into account, they (the two entities) would hold 62.5% ownership.
