I have two sheets with two columns on both. All numbers are not equal
on both sheets. I want the final report to have four columns. Columns
B on one sheet amd column A on the other sheet have some common
numbers. I want to have each number that is the same on both sheet to
show up adjacent to each other. I want a row blank for numbers that
don?t match, I also want this in consecutive order. In other words I
want it to do as my example on original question. I hope this helps.
This can not be done on data sort, as far as I know.

can you give the excel file directly or clearly describe the question
a little bit more.
If you want to sort the data, go to Excel---Data--sort
