I purchased two pairs of the same shoe (different colors) from DSW
Shoe this month. The shoes are "Kelly & Katie" brand shoes, and their
model name is "Monika". They are leather sling-backs, with a suede leaf design on
the front, and i bought them in black, and brown. The UPC code on the
boxes are: 404300049866 (black) and 404300407901 (espresso).

I can't find information anywhere on this company! Do they even exist anymore?

Dear yellowdandelion,

The company does indeed still exist, because it is ... DSW Shoe
itself. Please let me explain:

I searched the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's database for the
owner of the brand "Kelly & Katie". And the result was that "Kelly &
Katie" is a trademark registered by DSW Shoe Warehouse, Inc.
To be more precise, DSW filed the trademark application on 18 March
2004; the record has the serial number 76581761. The list of goods and
services the trademark relates to is quite extensive. Besides shoes,
DSW also claims it for use with luggage, shirts, umbrellas and various
other products. Maybe DSW plans to offer a more extensive line of
"Kelly & Katie" products in the future. Of course, those products
could be manufactured anywhere, by any of DSW's sub-suppliers. But
there can be no doubt about the identity of the company behind the
"Kelly & Katie" brand.

wow that was quick! Perhaps DSW will devote a portion of their
website advertising their brand.. i was trying to find a picture of my
shoes to send to a friend.. but this explains why it was so difficult
to track down!!! Thank you so much!

FYI: This may or may not be classified information, but I believe that
Kelly & Katie shoes are made by Liz Claiborne (actually, I know it for
a fact).

I also bought 2 pair of this brand at DSW. These are the shoes I've
been waiting for--stylish, attractive...and designed w/real women in
mind. Low (but cool) heels, comfortable, and non-slip soles. If
anyone discovers more info. on how to find these shoes, please post.

I just bought 2 pairs of Kelly & Katie brand shoes too and I love
them! They're the perfect size heel for work. Couple of months ago, I
also bought a pair of shoes that had the same kind of feel to them and
the brand's called Audrey Brooke. The style and the shoebox was
similar to the Kelly & Katie ones. Has anyone seen/bought Audrey
Brooke?

I just bought a pair of Audrey Brooke boots today and went online to
see if I could find the brand anywhere and came upon this information.
Looks like they are part of DSW, too. I've had them on for a little
bit and really like them - great heel for work. I don't recall seeing
any other "Audrey Brooke" shoes there, the boots were in the clearence
section.....If you see them, go for it - they are a fun shoe - I'll
have to check out the Kelly & Katie brand.
