Hello! Sounds like an interesting problem. Keychains are by nature very hard to access without the proper rights - do you still have the password to your Keychain? What exactly do you mean by modify? Change a recorded password/key? Read all your passwords? Ect. Some good starting points for fellow reasearchers will be: The Apple site on security: (background on what it is) http://developer.apple.com/internet/macosx/securitycompare.html If your keychain name and password are the same as your log-in name and password it'll automatically unlock your keychain. Pretty cool! Visit this page on apple's site to learn how to change keychain settings and passwords, aswell as create and delete keychains. http://docs.info.apple.com/article2.html?artnum=60484&SaveKCWindowURL=http%3A%2F%2Fkbase.info.apple.com%2Fcgi-bin%2FWebObjects%2Fkbase.woa%2Fwa%2FSaveKCToHomePage&searchMode=Expert&kbhost=kbase.info.apple.com&showButton=false&randomValue=100&showSurvey=true&sessionID=anonymous|133237425 Does any of that cover your question? If not, please clarify what you mean by modify (what you want to do). Thanks! -Matt (a.k.a Murph) |
