I need a copy of the paper (9 pages) cited below. Normally, I would just pop over my local university library and photocopy it (which is deemed fair use by Canadian copyright law, I'm a UBC student). However, the compliation in which it is published is not available at UBC. I'll pay $5 US to somebody who can get it to me in a digital format, within about 24 hours. I don't have time to wait for an interlibrary loan, so please don't suggest it. Trigger, B. G. (1988). "Archaeology's relations with the physical and biological sciences: a historical review" from Proceedings of the 26th International Archaeometry Symposium edited by: Farquar, R. M., Hancock, R. G. V., Pavlish, L. A. pages 1-9 The symposium was held at the University of Toronto (Toronto, Ontario, Canada). Thanks! Aviv |

Hi a_k, The UBC library, like any library offers an Interlibrary Loans service. You can follow the instructions on this page: http://www.library.ubc.ca/home/orderdel.html The interlibrary loans staff at UBC will find the article for you and let you know when it is available to pick up. There may be a cost associated with getting the article but it will be in Canadian dollars and will probably be less than what you are willing to pay here. Plus you are already paying for Interlibrary Loans service in your student fees. The staff at UBC's library would be able to answer any other questions you have about this service. |

Just to add: I suggested ILL because what you are requesting is actually in violation of the Access copyright agreement. You cannot alter the form of a document (e.g. from paper to electronic). This article is likely in paper form and must remain in paper form. Interlibrary Loan is usually about 5 business days, especially since Trigger is well known and UofT probably has the article in question. |
