I am having display problems on a computer I recentely built. I have a
1.2 AMD Athlon and I am trying to use a Nvidia mb GeForce2 MX 200 card
for video. The optimum resolution for the monitor I am using (Samsung
LCD Syncmaster 710v) is 1280x1024 @ 60 mhz. When I use this
resolution, the fonts are blury and the screen has a wavy background.
I have tried other settings and cannot get any better results. I know
the monitor is okay becaause I have hooked it up to other computers
with no problems. I have installed the latest video drivers, and the
bios for the card seems to be current. This has been driving me crazy.
Not only is the screen making me blind with the blurriness, but it
hangs constatnly while playing games (even in low-graphics mode). The
only game I have been trying to play is MS Flight Sim 2002. Any help
or guidance would be appreciated.
