I would like to know about Hobart Barracks in Detmold (Germany)for the years 1936 - 1945. It was then called Detmold Flughaven but the barracks covered a much larger area then. I am especially interested in any photographs of Nazi rallies held there when Hitler was present reviewing troops. I have seen some of these photos but cannot trace any on the net and have no copies myself. Any information as to 'war'work carried out within the barracks such as the lower levels of the aircraft hangars and the subterranean garages would also be of much interest to me. |
