What is the statue of limitations on Demotions in the National Guard?

"Statute of Limitations" refers to the time the state may bring a
criminal prosecution. Demotions in the military are covered by
military regulation.
Nobody gets demoted without a reason.  Demotions are usually the
result of some disciplinary action.  Is that the case?
