Thanks for accepting my suggestion of Snopes.com as a source of
information regarding the interesting matter of Walt Disney's mortal
remains. There is quite a bit of evidence that Disney's body was
cremated; I have found no credible evidence otherwise. I've reposted
the Snopes link below, with a few additional goodies:

"Despite the persistent rumors, available documentation indicates that
Walt Disney was in fact cremated...
Walt Disney publicly stated -- ten years before his death -- that he
wished not to have a funeral.
Disney family members have confirmed that cremation was Walt's wish.
Disney's death certificate shows that he was cremated two days after
his death. (The name, license number, and signature of the enbalmer
appearing on the death certificate are those of a real enbalmer who
was employed at the Forest Lawn mortuary at the time.)
A marked burial plot, for Walt Disney (and his son-in-law) can be
found at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale (the logical
resting grounds for someone whose cremation was handled by Forest
Lawn's mortuary), and court papers indicate that the Disney estate
paid $40,000 to Forest Lawn for interment property...
If Disney was not really frozen, then how and when did this rumor
originate? The exact origins of the rumor are unknown, but at least
one Disney publicist has suggested that the story was started by a
group of Disney Studio animators who 'had a bizarre sense of humor.'
The earliest known printed version of the rumor appeared in the
magazine Ici Paris in 1969."

"Walt Disney, as near as can be determined, was cremated on December
17, 1966, two days after his death. Admirable work in this regard was
done by William Poundstone, author of a ground-breaking volume called
Big Secrets. Poundstone heard not only that Walt was on ice, but that
the body was stashed below the Pirates of the Caribbean exhibition at
Disneyland. Disney was known to have been preoccupied with death, his
funeral services were held in secret, and the cause of his demise was
never formally announced. Poundstone, however, was able to get a copy
of the death certificate, which says Walt died of cancer of the left
lung and was cremated at Forest Lawn cemetery. The certificate was
signed by an embalmer named Dean Fluss, a real guy who really worked
at Forest Lawn. Forest Lawn would not disclose the location of the
remains, but after a search Poundstone found the grave site in the
cemetery's Court of Freedom section."

"How the rumor's of Walt being frozen started are uncertain. However,
many things lent credibility to the story. The family and studio never
officially denied the rumor - both refused to comment on Disney's
death in any form. Many people took this as a denial of the story,
thus meaning it must be true. There is also a rumor that the studio,
which was on somewhat shaky ground in the months after Walt's death,
did nothing to crush the story of Walt being frozen as a means of
preventing a hostile corporate takeover. One cynical longtime animator
and personal associate of Walt, when asked about the cryogenics
rumors, said that if Walt had himself frozen, that it was his attempt
to become a warmer human being.
Walter Elias Disney died on December 15th, 1965 just 10 days after his
65th birthday, of an acute circulatory collapse brought on by
complications from lung cancer. Within 24 hours of his death, his body
was cremated and the ashes placed in an underground vault at Forest
Lawn cemetery in Glendale. Although his gravesite is not a closely
guarded secret, it's location is relatively unknown. It is at the left
corner of the main entrance to the Freedom Mausoleum against the wall.
It is marked only by a plaque on the wall with the names of Walt, his
daughter Dianne, and his wife Lillian. The plaque is slightly obscured
from view by a tree."

If the legend of Walt Disney as a "corpsicle" intrigues you, you might
want to read "Waking Walt," a work of fiction written by a former
Disney employee:
"The time is the fairly close future and the Disney company is on the
ropes. Through bad investments, poor planning, and lack of clear
guidance on the part of management, the stock price is at an all-time
low and a hostile take over is at hand by a man named Arnold Garth.
Garth is a ruthless businessman whose first act will be to break up
the company and sell off the assets, dismantling the corporation that
was built on a mouse. To the members of 'the Circle' there is only one
thing left to do.
It's time to wake up Walt.
The premise of 'Waking Walt' is that the old urban legend of Walt
Disney being frozen just before his death is true, and that he's been
in cryogenic storage for the past forty years."
