I need to find a good list of Real Estate Investment Trusts (public or
private) with over $10M in assets. The list needs to have contact
information, executive management names for sure, and preferably also
has revenue and web site addresses - but this isn't necessary. A
large tip if you can find this in excel or dB format!

I have a list of more than 200 publicly traded REITs, complete with
address, telephone number, the name of a top executive, trailing
12-month sales, and total assets.

I've assembled it in Excel format. You can download the data at
wecanwrite.com/REITs.htm. I'll remove the data from the Web site in 48
hours unless you let me know you need more time.

This looks good, I downloaded it successfully. I don't suppose you
have associated web site URL's perchance?

It's not from a Web site. I have access to a database containing this
information. All of the information can be verified in the company's
10-Q filings, but that's not where I got the material.

Oh! I wasn't expecting you to cite your source for the data, but was
wondering if in the database it also has URL's for the REIT's
themselves. They can be all found online certainly, but if you have
them available in the database it will save some time. If not, no
problem - the excel document is very useful as is.

Sorry, my database does not include Web addresses. But I can suggest a
quick way to find them. Put the ticker symbols in a Yahoo! Finance
portfolio. Click on a ticker symbol, then click on "Profile" in the
menu at left. That page will have a link to the company's Web site.
Three clicks from the portfolio page and you're there.

Found what I was looking for - a database of REIT's and provided it as
an excel docment. A 5-star answer would have had private REIT's and
web addresses, but this gets me down the road a good ways, and the
researcher has been very helpful.
