A current source and a resistor are connected in series in a circuit.
Elements connected in series have the same current,  I=Is in this
circuit. Suppose that Is= 3 A and R= 7 ohms. What is the voltage (v)
across the resistor?

E = IR = 3 times 7 = 21 volts, assuming the current source can supply
that much voltage at the full 3 amps.   Neil
