Dear goldenbawz,

Are you willing to pay for these tracks or do you search free sources?

Dear goldenbawz,

I assume that you are looking for free sources to download from.
“KaZaA” is a great source for audio files. I have checked each of the
artists that you requested. They all have available songs that you can
download. Although most have a quality of 128, I made sure that each
artist had at least one song or album that was above 192.

Downloading “KaZaA” is very simple. Click on the following link:

“KaZaA”
http://www.kazaa.com/en/index.php

Now click “Download.” Carefully follow the directions. Make sure that
the program is compatible with your computer.

Once you have downloaded the program, click “SEARCH” on the toolbar.
Then click on the bubble “AUDIO.” Type in the name of the artist or
song. The search time will vary, according to your internet speed.
Left click or highlight the song/album you wish to download. Choose
“DOWNLOAD.” On the toolbar, click “TRAFFIC” to watch the progress of
the download. Once it is complete, you can play the song in “KaZaA”,
put in on a CD, or store it in a separate folder and replay it using
your Windows Media Player.

My search strategy:

I, having already downloaded “KaZaA” previously, searched each of the
artists you requested. Then, I used my favorite search engine (Google)
to find the homepage of “KaZaA.”

Kazaa

If you have problems downloading “KaZaA” or have questions about the
program, please feel free to contact me.

Best regards,

ukiguy

yes i am looking for free (if possible) sources of 192kbps mp3's but
after already looking myself on kazaa and only finding a few of this
quality was looking for other sources.

I am afraid that cogpsych is right. By google standards, I am not
allowed to "provide information that will enable aslers to conduct
illegal or harmful activities." Please contact google if you have
questions about this.

Isn't this kind of activity exactly what the music industry is all
upset about? People searching for mp3s of songs to download for
"free". Have any of the artists you listed explicitly indicated that
they are distributing their music free of charge for download on the
internet? If not, then the term "music piracy" comes to mind and I
don't think Google researchers should be facilitating someone's effort
to obtain multimedia in this manner (i.e., through Kazaa).

And if you actually were to buy these artists' CDs (which are readily
available from on-line retailers), you could encode mp3s at whatever
level of quality you choose.

First of all, right off the bat, someone should have warned you about
kazaa, because it puts spyware and other junk on your computer. You
can get "kazaa lite" which has no spyware at www.oldversion.com. You
can also try a program called WinMx.

If you don't mind paying for ypur music and want it downloaded faster,
try Apple's Itunes music store or Walmart's online music store.
Although Walmart's music downloads have stricter copyrights. Apple's
music store and Napter (pay for music, legal) have the largest
collection of music and would be helpful for your techno. . .Good
Luck!
