I have some old 33 Long Play records and I would like to get these songs onto Cd. My record player is an older, portable stereo with 2 speakers. Now the little I know about electronics is that this player has double wire that goes to each speaker. The player does not have (visible nor accessible in my opinion) RCA plugin connections. Well, I think that the wires to each speaker would serve as sources for "output" to splice in some connections for wire to the recording device. Now, I am thinking that my PC could work as the recording device. For that I am ignorant. I hope that my PC, yes, with CD burner and Windows XP will be just the ticket. Now--- how to do it? That is your question of the day. Blessings to you great Answers' researchers. John P |

You can do it cheaper at the expense of quality, but here is a reliable way to do it: http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=387506 |
