This worked fine after installing . However after installing
additional software the all in one seems to reboot itself every time I
start the computer and takes forever. Does anyone know why?

Are your drivers installed correctly?
I would try to reinstall your printer drivers and see if that helps any.
If you still have problems check on HP's website in their support section.
