I'm interested in the diet fresh food delivery market.
I want to know the market size and market expected gross, I'm also
interested in the changes over the past few years.
I am interested in the US market only.
If possible I want specific numbers for the New-York city area (as
well as the entire US)
Any other numbers on this market will be very welcomed; like market
segments size (i.e. the low-carb fresh food delivery, the zone-diet
fresh food delivery, etc.) and any characteristic of the consumers
(i.e. income, geographical spread, age, ethnics, what is the average
period of time that customers use a delivery service, etc.)

In the minds of consumers, diet is synonymous with dieting. Consumers
tend to consider "diet" to mean what they are eating in relation to
their weight status. For the purposes of this question, however,
"Diet" refers to a conscious effort to control or lose weight by
following a prescribed dieting pattern such as counting calories,
monitoring food intake, etc.

Major players in this market include:
www.zonechefs.com and http://www.zonedietathome.com (both belong to
the same company)
www.atkinsathome.com

Some statistics on diets in the US:

I'll need links to all the findings (I guess that it is obvious?)

10x,
Yohai
