Hello.

Well, like most Monopoly locales, Ventnor is based on a real street in
Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Here's an excerpt from a detailed article about the street:

"It's a yellow property on the Monopoly board, a high-rent district in
the imagination of the game developer.
In reality, Ventnor starts as a two-lane street, far from high-rent,
and is eventually upgraded and redesigned into boulevard status in
Margate's Parkside neighborhood. It morphs into the main commercial
street further south in Margate.
 Perhaps it's a true example of seashore real estate, where address
counts more than architecture.
 In the first few blocks, still within Atlantic City, Ventnor Avenue
now is home to tattoo parlors, divorce centers and bodegas. You'll
find no supermarkets here, but many neighborhood convenience stores
that offer only curbside parking."

In Monopoly, "Ventnor Avenue" is one of the hardest spots to land on;
even though it's a game of chance.
