Hi knowtater,

I performed an extensive search, and the only interesting reference I
found was this:

"The creator of Monopoly correctly identified Pacific Avenue as one of
the more expensive properties on the board, one of the three "green"
streets on the final leg of the game, second in price only to the
"blues," Boardwalk and Park Place.

But by including only railroads nearby, the gamemakers missed the form
of transportation unique to the city and the street.

Jitneys have been navigating Pacific Avenue one way or another since 1915."

Hi knowtater,

International trivia.

In Spain the property known as Pacific Avenue is called Puerta Del
Sol, in Germany it's Rathausplatz, and in the British version it's
Regent Street.
