I managed myself to find in the internet how to make an excel table of
historical EOD prices of a single share(downloaded automatically) from
Yahoo finance.
This was really easy. I found many sharewares that can do so in the net.

What I couldn't find is how to arrange all the quotes automatically in
a single file by DATE :
My exact target is to make an excel table with a culumn of dates
ranging from 1/1/96 until today, and to each date I want the EOD (end
of day) quotes of about 300-500 shares tickers. I need it to be on a
single page and I want it to download everything automatically (of
course...).
With such table I will be able to see for each past day what was the
quote and to do my reasearch.

I managed on my own to make many single excel files (using sharewares
on the net) that in each there were the dates and the quote of one
single share. one of these software even put in one file some shares
but not in the way i mentioned. I know that it can be arranged using
some kind of MACRO or VBA to a single file but I don't know (and don't
have time) how to do this. In addition it is hard to do such merging
"by hand" because in many of those separate files the dates doesn't
fit in order (for example: google stock quotes will start with a
different date than, say, amazon).
I'm almost sure that someone over earth did such a useful (and cheap
...) software ... or MACRO ... or whatever ...
Thanks.
