Are you looking for sources that detect serotonin and dopamine spectroscopically or with other optical methods? One of the most common methods for neurotransmitter detection is by electrochemistry. Here is a paper where they used the tryptohan of serotonin as a uv emitter http://www.opticsinfobase.org/abstract.cfm?id=79535 Here is a paper where they used electrochemical detection and liquid chromatography separation http://www.clinchem.org/cgi/content/abstract/30/1/131 |
