I have an Epson LX810 line printer being used as a local printer on my
office computer(Windows XP Pro). Recently the drivers became corrupt &
when I reinstalled the drivers with those provided by Windows, I am
able to print only from Windows. I use a Dos based application to
print batch forms & I am no longer able to print from this program.
The drivers I downloaded from the Epson site(for Win 3.1) do not work
either. The original diskette is corrupt & I am unable to get the
printer to work with my Dos application. Can you help? Thanks

shadowrules,

You didn't mention getting replacement drivers from Epson for your XP
box so I'm including the link here.

http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/SupportIndex.jsp

When you get there, click the "Printers" link and then the "Impact"
link. From there scroll down and select the "LX810". This is the page
where you can choose your Windows Operating System. *It does not
include a WinXP selection.* But you can contact Epson 24 hours @:

Hopefully someone else can give a more useful answer if this doesn't work.
