To clean temporary files such as the one you mentioned is actually pretty easy with the Disk Cleaner program. All you have to do is download it from http://www.xs4all.nl/~mp2004/ at the download tab at the left side, install it, and run the program. It should give you a list of file histories or temporary files that you can clean. There is also an FAQ page for any questions you may have. Bomanator |

hi try this 1. go to ur primary drive(the drive where ur os(win xp) is instaled) 2. opean the folder with the name of the user whose history u want to delete 3. there is folder with the name "My Recent Documents", which contain all the .lnk files(they are actuall shortcut's) deleat all deleat the only the ones u want p.s. "My Recent Documents" is a hidden folder to view in the menu do tools-folder options-view-and click on show hidden files and folders radio button, dont forget to change the settings to dont show hidden files after finishing.... note although there are a lot of .lnk files only the most relevent 12 are shown when u go through start menu it can be varied |

hi again im very sorry before step 2. include this step 1.5. opean "Documents and Settings" now do as in step 2. |
