The stock markets - react differently to same news items. For eg: In a boom time if acompany says that it is cutting its work force-the stock could go up whereas the econmy is in a recession-the stock coudl go down on the same news. I want concrete information -regarding this for a few stocks. I am doing a project on the behaviour of stock markets |

Take a look at SCOX. When they sued IBM the stock took off like a rocket. Now they're still suing IBM and they stock is in the pennies. If you look at news releases and the information and timing, you'l be surprised at how the stock moved. It should be well documented too. Bob |
