I am considering buying a PDA. I don't know much about them so I need some advice as to the best one to pick. I run a small online business selling autographs online so would love one that was wifi compatible and will connect to my broadband line without wires; runs Windows; has a GPS system (I know I might have to purchase other hardware, but what?); can possibly be used as a mobile phone on the Orange network. Any other info would be great too. I am in the UK and have a budget of around £300 ish. Look forward to the replies. Thanks in advance!! |

Hi, I have found an interesting link with a list of PDA with prices in UK. It is also posible to compare different PDAs and search by features (Wifi, GPS included -sometimes included, PocketPC software, etc.) http://computing.kelkoo.co.uk/b/a/c_114501_pdas.html Hope it helps, Lannaeus |

I'll recommand getting the Hp Ipaq H6315 it's powerful enough to run a GPS device over Bluetooth and it's on the GSM network also has a Built in Wifi connection for VO-Ip below i posted a link for review on that phone http://www.bargainpda.com/reviews/default.asp?reviewID=294 For GPS recommandations i'll look into Bluetooth enabled GPS i don't know much about UK but in the US i have used the Belkin bluetooth enabled GPS and it's great but again in UK i'm not sure if they bundle maping software for UK. http://www.mobilepcmag.com/reviews/2004_03/HPPaqNavigationSystemandBelkinBluetooth.html The GPS reciever will run you about $180 USD |
