I worked for the CIA back in the 60's. When someone asks me about what I used to do, I don't even tell them I used to work for the CIA because there are some many phonies that tell that story that it makes anyone who actually did look like another lier. I had a letter from them verifying my employment and report date but have lost it. I was a staff employee. |

Hi dinkydow, Forgive me if you've been down this path before, but the CIA website provides contact details for potential employers: "To verify a CIA employee's employment: if you are a mortgage company, creditor or potential employer, please address inquiries to: CIA Human Resource Management Washington, DC 20505 ATTN: Employee Verification" Other Contact Information Central Intelligence Agency Office of Public Affairs Washington, D.C. 20505 By phone: (703) 482-0623 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., US Eastern time By fax: (703) 482-1739 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., US Eastern time (please include a phone number where we may call you)" http://www.cia.gov/cia/contact.htm Of course, I am not sure how long the CIA keeps their records. All the best in your quest, * j * |
