Hello Schnutz,

For the "Colorado Pass" specifically, you should check out
  http://www.coloradopass.com/
or more directly at
  http://www.snow.com/passsales/

The site indicates you must purchase the first one in person (I assume
for a photo) but can be renewed on line.

You can search for other descriptions of this pass using phrases like
  colorado pass keystone breckenridge
There are press releases and other pages that describe this pass.

There are also multiple day tickets available, see
  http://www.snow.com/info/pass.lt.asp
for details. This page describes purchasing them on line ("buy now for
the best price") but I have purchased these kinds of tickets at a
Frisco ski shop in previous years during March without any problems.
They may still be available that way as well.

For both, note the limitations on visits to Vail and Beaver Creek. For
example, a 5 day ticket is only good for 2 days at Vail or Beaver
Creek.

If you need more information, don't hesitate to request a
clarification. I can expand on the answer as needed.

Thanks...the site says that Nov. 7th is last day to get pass. I will
not be back in Denver area before Nov. 7th. Is there any way to get
the pass without physically being there? Can I get someone else to
pick it up for me?

Hello Schnutz,

To make other arrangements to register for the pass and to pick it up,
I suggest you call the toll free number listed on the information page
at
  http://www.snow.com/passsales/info/coloradopass.asp
(down near the bottom)

I suggest asking if it is possible to pay for the pass now (and lock
in the rate) and then show up in person the next time you are in
Denver (or for that matter, the first day you go skiing).
