What is the music featured on the Polo.com Spring TV ad? The music and ad can be seen at the Polo website at http://www.polo.com/video/video_player.asp?play=56k . What is the name of the piece of music that is playing and where can I get a copy of the full-length song? The ad shows pictures of people wearing Ralph Lauren fashion and the man on the ad says... "The Romance... the Beuaty... The World of Ralph Lauren... Polo.com." |

The song is called "Fun City". It is off of the Midnight Cowboy soundtrack and it was composed by John Barry. For the full length song, you could of course buy the Midnight Cowboy Soundtrack. Or you could try downloading it with a file sharing program. Hope this was helpful. |

A link supposedly to the track, http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/clipserve/B00000DQWS001004/102-7416499-7606539 I wasted disk space with wonderful Real Audio just to discover that link doesn't really work (at least for me) Hope this helps -AI |

I finally got the link to work, sounds like we have a winner: http://tinyurl.com/piz is another clip And if you just want that one song, looks like Wal-Mart is cheaper with a collection of John Barry recordings: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=843580&cat=5099&type=4&dept=4104&path=0%3A4104%3A4119%3A5099 thanks for this question, it's a nice tune I got to hear. -AI |
