With 5 to 8 employees, why not a one dollar pad of paper where you keep the records the old fassion way? Why risk loosing tomarrow's payroll data and information you may need at tax time to a computer crash? I don't think the computer saves you any time on the average until you get to a payroll of about 100 employees. Neil |

I've used ADP for years for several of my small businesses and have always been very happy with their work. For the longest time, I did the payroll myself, including all the tax filing, year end, etc... I was hesitant to go to a payroll service initially, but now that I have, I will never go back. I have used them for businesses that are already fully operational (50+ employees) and start-ups businesses (starting with only 1 employee). All of my businesses are now using them without a hitch. I can't speak about Intuit (I'm sure they do fine work). |
