Perhaps you are thinking of "Carrie," which has a scene with pig blood (ewww). |

I was thinking that too... but it was '76 and I don't think that was the back of the video for Carrie. I don't remember a rottie either :0) This is a good question tho -AI |

The New Kids (1985)
From: ulu-ga on 18 Jul 2002 04:04 PDT |
I haven't seen the film, but this matches your description. http://us.imdb.com/Title?0089679 The New Kids(1985) Abby McWilliams and her brother Loren McWilliams are particularly moral teenagers. Their parents Mac and Mary Beth are killed in an accident, and it's decided that Abby and Loren will live in the small town of Glenby, Florida, with their uncle Charlie and aunt Fay, who own a gas station and an amusement park, both of which are on Charlie and Fay's property. http://us.imdb.com/Plot?0089679 I have to give the movie credit, though, for devising a truly novel method of torture. The inbreds, it turns out, have taught their pitbull to enjoy the taste of blood. They lovingly feed it chicken blood, which means some unfortunate character will inevitably be doused with buckets of crimson before the dog is free to monge on his face. http://www.geocities.com/SouthBeach/Docks/1920/bully.html |

According to the IMDB, aka "Striking Back". Have you checked under that name? |

No PAL?
From: ulu-ga on 06 Aug 2002 02:25 PDT |
It could be it was never released in PAL. Amazon only lists an NTSC VHS tape. http://us.imdb.com/Title?0089679 You might try searching the stores (on-line?) for films made the director (Sean S. Cunningham) and released in 1985. |
