Hi,
Does the Pilz record label in Germany still exsist? If so I would
like an address/ web page/e mail contact. If it does not exsist today,
who holds all the back catalogue of music from the 1970s for this
record label?

Thanks Gary (UK)

Dear Gary,

The label doesn't exist anymore. It was active in 1971/2 and later
released under Kosmische Musik (Cosmic Music), together with the Ohr
label.

ZYX Music holds the catalogue rights, and according to a French site,
also plans to re-release some material (Pilz, Krautrock,
<http://neospheres.free.fr/kraut/pilz.htm>, in French).

The ZYX site is:
ZYX Music
www.zyx.de

The site has frames , and therefore you should browse through
"labels", and go to "O" (Ohr/Pilz) in order to receive details. The
direct link is:
Ohr/Pilz Label (in ZYX Music)
but at least for me, the direct link also leads to the main frame, and
doesn't solve the "framing problem".

Contact details are also available on the site, including
specialisation in labels or styles. You can find it if you choose
"inside" and then "contact details" .

Their UK address is :
ZYX Records Ltd.
Unit 11 Cambridge Court
210 Shepherd?s Bush Road Hammersmith London W6 7NL / United Kingdom
Phone +44 -207-371-6969
Fax +44 - 207-371-6688
e-Mail: zyxgb@zyx.de

You can read an interesting review of the history of Ohr/Pilz and
Kosmische Musik at :
Eine Kleine Kosmische Musik - Krautrock site
<http://www.vinylvulture.co.uk/pages/kosmische.htm>

I hope this answered your question. Please contact me if you need any
clarifications on this answer before you rate it.

My search terms were:
Pilz Label Musik
Pilz Ohr Label
ZYX Pilz Label

1. As mentioned by lannaeus-ga and politicalguru-ga. There were plans
to call this lable "Mouse":

2. "Pilz Media Group", based in Kranzberg (near Freising, Bavaria):
