There is a lot next to my lot and house that is undeveloped land. In
the center of that lot, is a "road" that goes straight through it that
people have used on and off to access other property near this lot.
This "road" extends the back of my property.
I did some clearing of my property and the "road" behind my property.
In order for the bobcat to get to my property, it went on this "road"
on the lot next to my property. This lasted about 3 days. The bobcat
basically, tilled the land removing the crabgrass, weeds, etc that were
there. While we had the bobcat, we also removed the big rocks that
were on this "road". My intent was to grass seed the "road" behind my
property and the "road" in the center of this lot next to me. It will
look much nicer and people probably won't drive on it anymore.
My question is that the land owner next to me wants to sue me because
I was on the property and tilled the dirt. I am not sure what she is
suing me for exactly or if she has a case. She has contacted her
attorney.
Please explain my options if any and if she has a case. |
