Dear rosemorris,
The most up-to-date official data published by the U.S. Census Bureau
is the Population Estimate as of 1 July 2003. These are the figures
according to that data set:
Female Population of the USA, Age 30 and older: 88,698,846
Female Population of the USA, Age 30 to 64: 67,728,157
Since the Census Bureau's age groups figures use 5-year-steps, there
is unfortunately no seperate figure for the group of 65-year-old
women; they belong to the age group 65-69 years (4,525,540
individuals).
